The JE Jenkins Scholarships 

Two scholarships will be available to continuing and commencing students enrolled full-time, preferably in an agriculture or social sciences program, at the University of Adelaide. These scholarships will be available to assist with accommodation expenses for students who reside at one of the residential colleges affiliated with the University of Adelaide (Aquinas College, Lincoln College, St. Ann's College, St. Mark's College, Kathleen Lumley College,or Roseworthy Residential College) or in other University affiliated accommodation (The Village, Mattanya Housing, or University subsidised accommodation).

Applicants must be from the country or have been resident for at least twelve months continuously in the country or have served actively for at least twelve months in one of Her Majesty's military services.

Previous applicants may reapply for these scholarships in subsequent years but will compete with new applicants. No preference will be granted to continuing students who have held a scholarship in a previous year.

The value of each scholarship (2) is $1000.

The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered; acceptance of the Scholarship offer cannot be deferred. If a student declines the Scholarship offer, the Scholarship will be offered to the next eligible student.

Selection will be based on academic merit.
