Marta Sved Scholarship in Mathematics
One Scholarship is available to a female commencing student who enrols in any of the following Bachelors level programs at the University of Adelaide:
- Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences;
- Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences (Advanced);
- Bachelor of Mathematical & Computer Sciences;
- Bachelor of Engineering (Computational).
Students undertaking double degrees with any of the above degree programs are also eligible.
The value of the Scholarship is $2,000 for one year. The recipient will also receive dedicated personal study space for the duration of their study, a laptop computer and a personal mathematics mentor for the duration of their study program.
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to academic merit in mathematics with consideration given to a recommendation made by the applicant's mathematics teacher and the applicants' statement regarding why they wish to study their chosen degree. Academic merit which will be determined according to ATAR (or equivalent) scores.
Recipients must undertake their University study on a full time basis as a Commonwealth Supported student.
