NSW Rural Doctors Network CadetshipsThe NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN) provides support for a continuing and high quality rural medical workforce in New South Wales (NSW). RDN develops and administers a number of programs to improve the recruitment and retention of General Practitioners (GPs) in rural and remote NSW, as well as providing a central information resource for rural medical support initiatives in NSW, Australia. RDN is a not-for-profit, non-government organisation with more than 700 Doctor members. It is funded by both the NSW state government and Australian federal government. RDN works with the NSW Rural Doctors Association (RDA) - an industrial and medical political body - and the 20 rural Divisions of General Practice in regionalised areas of NSW, to support general practice. The NSW Rural Resident Officer Cadetships are available to NSW/ACT residents who are studying their third to last years of the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Adelaide.
