
SA Water is providing one scholarship to a continuing female student undertaking a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Structural) or a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Environmental) program at the University of Adelaide. The value of the scholarship is $5,000 per annum and will be offered to a student who is an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia. Indigenous students are encouraged to apply.
The student may undertake a double degree in either field provided they remain enrolled in the program for which the scholarship is awarded. The scholarship will only be provided for the duration of the program for which the scholarship is awarded, up to a maximum of four years.
Applicants should be in at least their second year of study and undertaking study on a full time basis as a Commonwealth Supported student. Selection for this scholarship will be made according to academic merit. The scholarship contributes towards a student's living/educational costs.
Students applying should have an interest in the SA Water Graduate Program and be willing to attend Graduate Program functions at SA Water. They may also be required to attend a presentation of the award and be a positive ambassador for SA Water.
The successful applicant may be offered the opportunity of paid work experience at SA Water throughout the duration of the scholarship.
