SA Water Undergraduate Indigenous Scholarships

SA Water is providing two scholarships to commencing Indigenous students undertaking a Bachelors' level program of study in the field of Engineering, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Science or Computer Sciences at the University of Adelaide. Each scholarship is valued at $5,000 per annum and will be offered to Indigenous students who are Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

Student may undertake a double degree provided they remain enrolled in the program for which the scholarship is awarded. The scholarship will only be provided for the duration of the program, up to a maximum of four years for Engineering or a maximum of three years for Finance, Commerce, Economics, Science or Computer Science.

Applicants should be in their first year of study and undertaking study on a full time basis as a Commonwealth Supported student. Selection for this scholarship will be made primarily according to academic merit and with reference to their career goals and how the scholarship will benefit them. The scholarship is to contribute towards living/educational costs.

The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered; acceptance of the Scholarship offer cannot be deferred. If a student declines the Scholarship offer, the Scholarship will be offered to the next eligible student. Students can hold only one SA Water Scholarship at any time.

Students applying should have an interest in the SA Water Graduate Program and be willing to attend Graduate Program functions at SA Water. The recipient will be a positive ambassador for SA Water.

The successful applicant may be offered the opportunity of paid work experience at SA Water throughout the duration of the scholarship.
