SA Water Undergraduate Indigenous ScholarshipsSA Water is providing one scholarship to a commencing Indigenous student undertaking a program in the field of Engineering, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Science or Computer Sciences at the University of Adelaide. The value of the scholarship is $5,000 per annum and will be offered to a student who is an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia. The student may undertake a double degree provided they remain enrolled in the program for which the scholarship is awarded. The scholarship will only be provided for the duration of the program, up to a maximum of four years for Engineering or a maximum of three years for Finance, Commerce, Economics, Science or Computer Science. Students should be in their first year of study and undertaking study on a full time basis as a Commonwealth Supported student. Selection for this scholarship will be made primarily according to academic merit and with reference to their career goals and how the scholarship will benefit them. The scholarship is to contribute towards a student’s living/educational costs.
Students applying should have an interest in the SA Water Graduate Program and be willing to attend Graduate Program functions at SA Water. The recipient will be a positive ambassador for SA Water. The successful applicant may be offered the opportunity of paid work experience at SA Water throughout the duration of the scholarship. Applications closed 6 March 2009.
