The Skinn Engineering Scholarships

These scholarships have been established by the estate of Cleveland Maxwell Skinn to benefit two commencing students who are Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

Applicants must be undertaking the first year of a Bachelor of Engineering program at the University of Adelaide on a full-time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place.

These scholarships will provide $5,000 per student per annum for the duration of their undergraduate program, up to a maximum of four years.  Students undertaking a Bachelor of Engineering double degree are also eligible, but the maximum duration of the scholarships is four years.

Applicants need to demonstrate financial need and be able to provide supporting documentary evidence at the time of applying e.g. details of income tested Commonwealth income support payment such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits, or other details of their financial circumstances.

Selection of the successful candidates will be made according to financial need and academic merit.  Academic merit will be determined according to TER scores or according to academic records from tertiary or post-secondary level study.
