
This scholarship has been established by Toro Energy Ltd, an Adelaide based Australian uranium company with progressive project development, acquisition and growth.
One scholarship is available to a commencing student who is in their first year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) program at the University of Adelaide.
The scholarship will provide $5,000 for one year to assist with education costs.
Applications are open to Australian citizens, permanent residents of Australia and New Zealand citizens who are undertaking the program on a full time basis. For the purposes of the scholarship, students undertaking 75% of a full course load are considered to be enrolled on a full time basis.
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to academic merit with preference given to students from rural or regional backgrounds. Academic merit will be determined according to applicants' Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), or equivalent score.
