Hello and welcome to our first Bulletin for 2012. You will all be well and truly back in the swing of things and ramping up to the end of first term by now! We are pleased to present a number of opportunities for you and your students to get involved with the University of Adelaide over this year and you can find more information about each of these below.

You are invited to attend the Law Week events held at University of Adelaide this May. There will be a robust youth debate, putting the Trojan War on trial, and a topical public lecture that you can register to attend. This year's lecture will focus on WikiLeaks, Google and Facebook: How Terms of Use control information. More information or register here.
Our School of Psychology have recently developed a website to help High School students with information for their research projects. Here you can get information about future study and career opportunities in Psychology and find out more about the particular research interests of our staff. Staff are available to speak to students about their areas of expertise and to provide support in the preparation of Research Projects. Please contact the individual staff members listed on the site for further information.
Nursing at the University of Adelaide was created from industry demand to prepare graduates who are more "clinically-trained" and work ready. During the three year program, students gain extensive practical experience in the clinical setting, more so than is taught in many Australian university programs. This program has a significant and extensive clinical focus supported by academic rigour.

The Tertiary Studies and Careers Expo (TSCEA) will be held in Adelaide on 29-30 April 2012 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Entry is free and you will have the chance to explore your tertiary studies, training and career options as well as meet with representatives from TAFE SA, Defence Forces, Private Education Colleges, student support services, and graduate employers and government agencies.
