The University of Adelaide Security Services will preserve a safe campus environment where diverse, social, cultural and academic values are allowed to develop and prosper.
The prime aim of Security Services is the protection of persons and property by maintaining a team of well-trained and equipped uniformed security officers, security patrols, access controls and the ongoing provision of timely and accurate information and advice.
Security Services endeavours to provide a sensitive, meaningful and measured approach to situations, which require security intervention, and is committed to a customer focus in the provision of a professional and ethical security service, which includes:
- Detection and prevention of crime
- Protection of persons and property
- Provision of information to students and staff
- Assistance to student and staff in emergencies
