Manual Call Points

Manual Call Point This device is provided to enable manual operation of the fire alarm system ie Where you discover fire/smoke and the fire alarm is not sounding.

All visible surfaces (except for the frangible elements) of the Manual Call Point shall be red.

They are usually located in corridors and at the Fire Indicator Panel.

To operate

They can be operated by snapping the glass element by pressing on its centre.
This can also be done with a pen or coin.
