Access to Buildings (Control System)

Many University buildings are secured both externally and internally with the access control system which is administered from the Security Office. This involves the use of your university staff or student card provided by the Card Centre which can be found on the Card Centre website.

Once enabled your card will allow access to appropriate areas authorised by your departmental Access Control Delegate.

The Security Office provides advice and installs electronic and mechanical access control systems. This may include card access locks or digital code pads.
