Adelaide University Alumni Association (Singapore)Formation of AUAASThe AUAAS started as the University of Adelaide Alumni Singapore – a Network of the Australian Alumni Singapore (AAS) in 1995. With the establishment of the Ngee Ann-Adelaide Education Centre (NAA) and the consequent growth in alumni population, our patron - the late past President of Singapore, the Honourable Mr Ong Teng Cheong - encouraged the Network to set up a distinct body to meet the diverse interests of the alumni. A Protem Committee led by Network President, Mr Michael Khor, PBM, JP was set-up and the AUAAS was officially launched on the 6th April 2002 at the NAA. MembershipMembership is free and the Ngee Ann - Adelaide Education Centre will contribute $10 towards the Adelaide University Alumni Association Singapore (AUAAS) Fund for every new AUAAS member. As a member of the Adelaide University Alumni Association (Singapore), you will be able to participate in our activities and link up with an invaluable network of alumni. To register your interest, please email your contact details to auaas@NAA.edu.sg.
The Singapore Adelaide Alumni FundThe Singapore Adelaide Alumni Fund, championed by Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam, will further strengthen the already close bonds between Singapore and Adelaide, by providing financial assistance to undergraduate students from Singapore who are Singapore citizens or permanent residents of Singapore and who are currently enrolled full-time at the University of Adelaide and seeking temporary financial assistance to help them overcome temporary setbacks so as to enable them to continue studying their program at the University of Adelaide. Undergraduate students from all campuses, including Ngee Ann-Adelaide Education Centre (NAA), are eligible to apply. The Ngee Ann Kongsi has very generously contribute one dollar for every dollar donated up to SGD$250,000.00.
