Is the business idea innovative? Is it clearly different from what currently exists? Will it fill a market need? - Commercial Potential 25%
Does the business idea show commercial potential? Is the idea attractive and realistic? Does the revenue model show the team has an understanding of the business? Does the revenue model present a realistic payback period?
Judging Criteria for Final JudgingTeams are required to present a 20-minute Oral Pitch to the judging panel. The Oral Pitch will be followed by a 10-minute Question & Answer Session, and a 10-minute feedback from the judges. Investment Potential
OriginalityThe business idea that forms the basis of your Team’s Concept Proposal must originate from one or more of the members of your team as listed on the registration form OR If the idea has been patented by, or is the property of a third party, the originator of the idea must agree in writing to the use of the idea by your team, and must be expressly credited in your Concept Proposal and Oral Pitch.
