Leading the Singapore Challenge 2009

Professor Noel Lindsay, Professor of Entrepreneurship and Commercialisation and Director of the ECIC at The University of Adelaide will lead the eChallenge in facilitating the lecture and workshops for participants.

After completing his PhD in Commerce at The University of Queensland, Professor Noel Lindsay co-founded, developed, and harvested successful businesses in Australia, South Africa, and Malaysia. He also worked in corporate insolvency and then private equity as a Director of a successful venture capital firm that invested A$1m - A$3m in growth-oriented entrepreneurial ventures. As Professor of Entrepreneurship and Commercialisation and Director of the ECIC at The University of Adelaide, Professor Lindsay leads a team that teaches and undertakes research in the areas of entrepreneurship, innovation, technology commercialisation, and project management.


Process of the Singapore Challenge 2009

  • Submit the Team registration form (including a brief resume for each of the team members), together with your team’s Concept Proposal following the template.
  • The Concept Proposals are judged.
  • All the teams are given an opportunity to attend the Venture Showcase Lecture. Teams will be given an opportunity to present at the Venture Showcase.
  • Finalist teams will be notified via email.
  • Finalist teams will be invited to participate in the Business Planning Workshop
  • Submission of Business Plan.
  • Final Judging Day.
  • The participating teams will be invited to attend the Evening Talk & Dinner, and Award Presentation Ceremony.
