Teams must submit printed copies of their Concept Proposal following the template by 30 SEP 2009 WEDNESDAY. PDF for template: http://www.adelaide.edu.au/sg/echallenge2009/conceptproposal.pdf Concept Proposal must be typed using a minimum 12 point font, on A4 plain paper, with margins of at least 2cm and with a page number at the bottom of each page. It must not exceed two A4 pages. Concept Proposal should cover the numbered headings listed in the template, but the subheadings are not specifically required and are intended as a guide only. Concept Proposal will be marked by a number of judges, and feedback will be made on each entry. Concept Proposals will be judged primarily on the level of innovation displayed, and the commercial potential of the overall business idea. Teams will also be given the opportunity to make an impact and impress the judges at the Venture Showcase to be held on 10 OCT 2009 SATURDAY.
Business Plan
Shortlisted teams will be notified of their success via email by 12 OCT 2009 MONDAY. Teams must submit printed copies of their Business Plan following the template by 09 NOV 2009 WEDNESDAY. PDF for template: http://www.adelaide.edu.au/sg/echallenge2009/businessplan.pdf Business Plan must be typed using a minimum 12 point font, on A4 plain paper, with margins of at least 2cm and with a page number at the bottom of each page. It must not exceed 15 pages in length (excluding a cover page and contents page), with appendices of no more than 10 pages. Appendices are appropriate for detailed market analysis, financial information, resumes of team members, or to append reference material. Your Business Plan should cover the key headings listed in the template, but is not limited to those issues. The Business Plan will be distributed to a panel of judges for background reading prior to the oral pitch.

Venture Showcase Oral Pitch, 10 Oct 2009

Teams can either download their powerpoint presentations into the pc provided; or bring their own laptops for the Oral Pitch. DVD players and speakers are also available.

This workshop is extremely valuable from both a business planning and networking perspective.
