1. Are the lecturers from Adelaide or local lecturers?

Answer:

Majority of the lecturers are from the University Faculty, with a few local experienced industry practitioners. Local lecturers are recruited under stringent assessment and approval by the University of Adelaide's Head of School.

2. What is the mode of payment?

Answer:

Payment can be done by per course basis, i.e. if you are taking one course that term, you will only need to pay for that one course. However, you are also free to make payment for the full course fees in advance or for a few courses ahead.

Cash, NETS or Cheque

Cheques payable to: Ngee Ann - Adelaide Education Centre Pte Ltd

If you pay by Nets, you need to take note of your daily withdrawal limit.

3.Is there any application fee?

Answer:

Yes, there is an application fee of $107.00 (incl. 7% G.S.T) upon application submission.
The application fee will be fully refunded if unsuccessful in meeting the entry requirements.

About the Program

6. Are the programs full time or part time?

Answer:

The programs are all part time catering for busy working professionals. Each course is taught over two intensive teaching block of about 17 hours each, over the weekends, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Please view timetable.

7. How many intakes are there in a year?

Answer:

There are 4 intakes per year - January, April, July and October.

8. When is the deadline for application?

Answer:

Master of Project Management and Bachelor of Computer Science - 3 weeks before term commencement.

Master of Business Management, Master of Applied Finance and Master of Accounting - 2 weeks before term commencement.

9. How many months does it take to complete a course?

Answer:

It will take a duration of three months to complete a course within a term. The total duration for a program will vary. Please refer to program information for details.

10. How many courses can I enrol in per term?

Answer:

Students are adviced to undertake one or two courses per term depending on the combination of courses available within the term. Our Program Executives will be able to advise you accordingly.

11. What are the class schedules like?

Answer:

For Master of Business Administration, Master of Applied Finance, Master of Project Management, Master of Educational Studies and Master of Accounting:

Friday: 7.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.
Saturday: 1.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
Sunday: 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

For Bachelor of Computer Science:

Friday: 7.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.
Saturday: 1.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
Sunday: 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

12. What is the maximum number of years I am allowed to complete my program?

Answer:

Master of Business Administration; Master of Applied Finance; Master of Accounting - 5 years.

  • Bachelor of Computer Science - 4 years
  • Master of Project Management; Master of Educational studies - 3 years

Students are required to apply for Leave of Absence with the University for any non-enrollment of courses in each term.

13. How are the lectures conducted?

Answer:

The classes are conducted during weekend intensives for a total of 34 hours (including breaks), except for BCS which is 35 hours (including breaks). Classroom setting with maximum number of 35 students per course.
