Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) Direct Entry to the 3rd year of the Bachelor of Computer Science  Program OutlineThe Bachelor of Computer Science caters for Polytechnic Diploma holders in Information Technology or Engineering from Singapore. It provides a valuable means for a student to upgrade their qualification from a Diploma to a highly respected degree and will open doors for graduates wishing to pursue a career in the IT industry. The program produces highly skilled, adaptable graduates who are able to design computer-based solutions to the problems of information management and processing in industry, commerce, science, entertainment, and the public sector. Students who do well in their courses may complete an additional year of study to obtain an honours degree, which provides them with the opportunity for research and enhanced employment prospects. For candidates from a non-English speaking background or those whose education was not in English. TOEFL (overall score of 575 or better) or IELTS results (overall band score of 6.5 or better) is required. Applications cannot be considered unless all the relevant information is supplied.
