Master of Commerce (Accounting)  Program OutlineThe University of Adelaide’s Master of Commerce (Accounting) is designed to offer knowledge and skills in accounting and related fields. It will enable candidates possessing undergraduate degrees in non-accounting disciplines to move into careers in accounting, financial management, auditing and business advisory services in public practice, industry or government. Recent developments in reporting practices have presented increasing career opportunities in public and private sector entities. Completion of the program will enable the candidate to be eligible to apply for Associate membership with the CPA Australia. Professional Accreditation- CPA Australia has accredited the University of Adelaide’s Master of Commerce (Accounting).
- Successful completion of the Master of Accounting will provide students the educational grounding required for admission to the professional programs of CPA Australia

School of Commerce Postgraduate Program Graduate Attributes Admission Criteria
- A university degree from a recognized institution, or equivalent professional qualifications
- The Faculty may, subject to such conditions as it may see fit to impose in each case, accept as a candidate for the degree a person who does not satisfy the requirements of Rule above but who has presented evidence satisfactory to the Faculty of fitness to undertake work for the degree.

For candidates from a non-English speaking background or those whose education was not in English. TOEFL (overall score of 575 or better) or IELTS results (overall band score of 6.5 or better) is required. Applications cannot be considered unless all the relevant information is supplied.
