This talk will cover the practical aspects of building an innovative capacity including knowledge creation and ways to encourage, reward and incorporate innovation. A successful case study will demonstrate what worked in terms of building a robust, innovative capacity and learning organisation which turned the company around. It includes ways in which to encourage better innovation & management competence and grow innovative DNA in an organisation. We will discuss how to link innovative capacity with adaptive market capability. This is critical in today’s world of unknown futures and changing markets – such environments require the skills of strategic innovation rather than strategic planning.
