Fees and Costs

Fees vary considerably based on the duration, study load and inclusions of each program. The fees below are for Study Abroad students. Exchange students should read 'Information for Exchange Students' at left for more information about the fees they will incur.

Independent Program

Students are charged only for the number of units they take. Most courses at the University of Adelaide are 3 units. In 2012, international tuition for these programs is charged at $850 per unit or $2550 per 3-unit course.

Other costs

Students should factor in additional costs for airfares, insurance and living expenses while in Australia. Please contact your travel agent for an estimated price of airfares and travel insurance.

We encourage students to budget at least $1500-$2100 for additional meals and personal costs, however this is just an estimate.
