Adelaide University Life Experience Program (AULEP)

Adelaide University Life Experience Program (AULEP) recognises students who have shown a commitment to developing skills beyond the scope of their university degrees.  The scheme is intended to allow students to explore their own areas of interest while having a positive effect on the community.

The program is initially being implemented within the school of professions as a non-graded pass subject. The eventual plan is to have a University wide program available to students from all faculties. While it is understandable that some faculties will be unable to give credit to the program as a subject we believe that a stand-alone certificate can be created such that students going above and beyond their base degrees can receive credit for their work.

While a focus will be put on business enterprise and community engagement our hope is to create a broad framework that allows students to tailor their own learning experience. We believe that by having students being in control of their own education it will develop the passion for learning that can so often be diminished by the educational institution.
