What's Next?

I've registered, so now what happens now?

You can expect an email acknowledgement of your registration application within a few days of submitting it. Once your registration has been processed, you will receive an email advising you of the times and where to come for SmoothStart Day.  You will also receive a SmoothStart Day entrance ticket. Generally activities start at 9.30am and end at around 5pm after the 'Get on the Bus' tour of the city.

After the fun of SmoothStart Day, your mentor will remain in contact with you over the next few weeks to answer your questions and share their own experiences of being a first-year student and to share important tips that may not be written in the formal material offered by the University. Your mentor will also be able to help you work out who to talk to if you need advice about your studies or other issues.

Your mentor will also keep in contact to invite you to the many SmoothStart social activities which will occur throughout the semester as well as remind you of any relevant academic programs and life skills (like UniStep) which will help your uni career take off.
