Pivot table Help, DEEWR Help and Other definitions

Many of the statistics tables in the Student, Staff and Research areas are presented in Excel pivot table format, enabling the user to view the data in many different layouts. If you have not used pivot tables before, please refer to the Pivot table help and instructions.

The definitions for many of the data fields in the University statistics tables can be found in the Student, Equity or Staff Help files provided by DEEWR. Where the DEEWR data codes have been grouped together for University reporting, definitions of the groups are also provided.

Overviews of the DEEWR data submissions

Overviews of the information in the help files relating to the DEEWR student and staff data submissions provide a summary of the contents of the submissions and the responsibilities of universities in providing the data to DEEWR.
