Flexible Work Options

Flexible working arrangements allow for the best possible match between the University’s operational requirements and the personal, family, social or community responsibilities and interests of employees. Subject to the requirements of the work unit, the University and employees may explore the opportunities to a range of flexible work arrangements. These include:

• Part-time (fractional) work
• Job sharing
• Flexi-time
• Pre-retirement contracts
• Working from home

Children on Campus

The University permits children to be on campus provided reasonable steps are taken to protect the children and the study and work environment of others at University. Although the purpose of the Children on Campus Policy is to address Occupational Health and Safety issues, it nevertheless provides staff with a degree of flexibility in managing their work commitments and child care responsibilities.
