Honours, Masters and PhD Projects

Centre for Stem Cell Research Honours Program

We offer an Honours enrolment through both the Faculty of Sciences and the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Adelaide, leading to the awards of BSc (Hons), BMedSci (Hons), BHSc (Hons), BDS (Hons). Students from any University who have completed a Bachelor of Science, Health Science, Biomedical Science, Arts or Agricultural Science degrees, or three years of the MBBS and BDS (or others as negotiated) are eligible for the Course.

Students are able to undertake the honours course in either the Faculty of Sciences  or the Faculty of Health Sciences as part of the School of Centre for Stem Cell Research Honours Program (see these links for details and further information about the Faculties).

Information for prospective Honours students

Step 1
If you are are considering Honours in 2010 read the Honours project booklet ( below) and identify a project or research area of interest, then contact the supervisor directly.

Centre for Stem Cell Research Masters & PhD Programs

In order to gain admission to most postgraduate research programs in the University of Adelaide, it is necessary to have qualified for a four year Australian University Honours degree (first or second class, division A Honours) or the equivalent from an approved overseas University. Some faculties may require students to enrol as a candidate for a Masters degree in the first instance, with the possibility of upgrading to a PhD at a later date if progress is deemed to be satisfactory.

Step 2
If you are intending to apply for a Masters or PhD position, you must apply for a Masters or PhD position, you must complete an application form available from the following link:
