2011 Mid-Year Entry
The Process
If you're thinking of studying at uni we have many pre-degree (VET), undergraduate and postgraduate programs open for mid-year entry - so why wait until next year?
The application process for mid-year entry differs depending on your current situation (whether you're currently studying, for example). How should you be applying?
Selection criteria
The selection criteria, including pre-requisite subjects and cut-off scores will be the same as those used in the standard application round at the beginning of the year.
Entry pathways
At the University of Adelaide we recognise that not everyone has completed year 12 recently or successfully, so we offer various entry pathways. You can apply to compete for a place in a variety of programs in the following ways:
- on the basis of your year 12, SACE, International Baccalaureate, or interstate/overseas equivalent; and/or
- based on previous higher education studies; and/or
- completed VET or TAFE qualification; and/or
- through one of the University's special access schemes.
Special Entry Scheme (STAT)
Students seeking entry under the Special Entry Scheme must sit the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT). If you need to sit the STAT you must make an application to SATAC and pay all fees by 14 June 2011. Applicants may wish to prepare for the STAT by attending STAT preparation courses at the University's Professional and Continuing Education centre.
International students
If you are a current international student at the University and wish to change your program for Semester 2, 2011, refer to the International Enquiry website for details.
