Careers Events
The Careers Service offers students, employers and other organisations the opportunity to be involved with a variety of career related events on campus.
All Careers Events are listed on CareerHub for students to view or book into. Our students are encouraged to register and check for event updates regularly and to build these into their personal career development strategy.

Careers Expo The Careers Expo gives students from all year levels a chance to meet and mingle with graduate employers from across Australia. You can learn about different employers in their field, network, and find out how to put your best foot forward. Showcasing more than 100 employers over two days, the event is not to be missed!

The Resume Club The Resumé Club is a place where you can drop in and hear from Careers Service staff who will share tips and ideas that will help you create a great first impression with your cover letter and resumé. Held every Friday from 2.30pm (in Training Room 1, Hub Central Level 3), registrations are required through the CareerHub quick and easy booking process.

Industry Connect Visits (Careers on the Move) The Careers on the Move Industry Connect Visits will enable you to network with prospective employers, meet new people and see first-hand the impact your degree will have in the real world. With two programs on offer (Industry-Connect and the Student Challenge) students will make a real impact on their future with this program of events.

 Student Challenge (Careers on the Move) Have you ever watched the Amazing Race and thought you could take out the main prize? For the Student Challenge you'll be set a series of tasks, challenges and group activities. Over the course of the day you will need to make your way through clues and dilemmas that will develop your employability skills and encourage you to think outside the square. |

Employers on Campus Throughout the year we offer a number of on-campus presentations for students to meet representatives from major organisations and recruitment agencies to learn more about the employment opportunities available to them and the qualities employers are seeking in a candidate. Career Development Workshops and Seminars Throughout the year the Careers Service will run a number of workshops to assist students with Career Development. Check the 'Workshop' tab frequently for links to new diary dates and book into sessions.

International Careers Evening Are you an International student looking for work in Australia or abroad? International Careers Evening is a chance to hear about opportunities and application processes. Featuring a presentation from DIAC and graduate speakers, this information evening will provide advice for international students.
