Career Development Week 2009

Monday 18th May - Friday 22nd May

The Careers Service hosted a range of employer presentations as part of National Career Development Week.

The week kicked off with a free BBQ on Hughes Plaza on Monday 18th May from 12pm - 2pm where we played some tunes, interviewed students about their different career journeys as well as encouraging students to participate in our "BOOST your career" giveaway. Students were asked to answer the question: "What things can you be doing while at university to BOOST your career?" and each entry received a BOOST chocolate bar.

 Careers Expo Student Survey Prizewinners - 22nd April 2009

In the weeks following the 2009 Careers Expo, students were invited to complete a brief online survey about their individual Expo experience, highlights, career goals and their career plans given the current economic climate.

We received a fantastic response, and after the Easter break three students were selected and awarded the following prizes:
