Replacement/ Additional Assessment Results
R/AA Examination codes:
UR = Replacement exam on Medical, Compassionate or extenuating circumstances
US = Additional Assessment or Task
The results of Replacement examinations offered on medical and/or compassionate grounds will be classified using the normal grading system. However, If you completed the primary exam, and then sat the replacement exam, your existing primary result will be replaced by the replacement result, regardless of whether the latter is higher or lower.
The results of Additional Assessment or Task (offered on academic grounds) will not be graded above the level of 50 Pass. Where an Additional Assessment or Task produces an overall result that is different from the primary result, the better of the two results will apply.
All students will receive a single final result for each course, whether or not an R/AA was necessary to achieve that result. No indication of the R/AA will appear on your official academic transcript.
Students are advised to refer to the Modified Arrangement and Coursework Assessment for more information.
Academic Transcripts
Attend at the University Contact Centre (UCC) with photo ID and purchase your academic transcript on the spot, provided that you do not owe the University any money, and began studying in 1985 or later.
You can purchase official academic transcripts:
- 1 copy for $10
- 4 copies for $20.
- additional copies purchased at the same time are $2.
- 5 copies would cost $22,
- 6 copies would cost $24, etc.
Outstanding debts must be paid to the University before the UCC can print the transcripts for you. A Negative Service Indicator will appear on your student record effectively limiting services available to you until the debt is paid.
Contact the University Contact Centre on 8313 5208 if you require further assistance.
Examination Scripts
Students have the right to access their examination scripts. Schools must retain scripts for 12 months to allow for possible appeals and re-marking. The scripts should be offered back to the students after 12 months. If not collected by the students, they can then be disposed of in confidential waste. Students may access their examination scripts for discussions with academics if they place their request in writing to the examiner within 28 days of the issue of the official results. Schools may choose to offer other arrangements.
