Supplementary Examination Codes:
Examination ScriptsStudents have the right to access their examination scripts (Examinations Policy 4.11). However, Schools must retain scripts for 12 months to allow for possible appeals and re-marking. The scripts should be offered back to the students after 12 months. If not collected by the students, they can then be disposed of in confidential waste. Students may access their examination scripts for discussions with academics if they place their request in writing to the examiner within 28 days of the issue of the official results. Schools may choose to offer other arrangements. Supplementary ResultsThe results of supplementary examinations offered on medical and/or compassionate grounds will be classified using the normal grading system. However, If you completed the primary exam, and then sat the supp exam, your existing mark for the primary exam will be replaced by the mark for the supplementary exam, regardless of whether the latter is higher or lower. The results of supplementary assessment offered on academic grounds will not be graded above the level of 50 Pass. Where a supplementary examination on academic grounds produces an overall result that is different from the primary result, the better of the two results will apply. All students will receive a single final result for each course, whether or not a supplementary exam or other redemption work was necessary to achieve that result. No indication of the supplementary exam or assessment will appear on your official academic transcript. Students are advised to refer to the Examinations Policy 4.12 Supplementary Examinations for more information. Academic TranscriptsAttend at the Student Centre with photo ID and purchase your academic transcript on the spot, provided that you do not owe the University any money, and began studying in 1985 or later. You can purchase official academic transcripts:
Outstanding debts must be paid to the University before the Student Centre can print the transcript(s) for you. A Negative Service Indicator appears on your student record effectively limiting services available to you until the debt is paid. If you began your studies at the University of Adelaide before 1985, you will need to fill out a form to request your transcript (download here). Contact the Student Centre on 8303 5208 if you require further assistance.
