Exam Timetables

Students are required to be available during the exam periods where an examination is an assessment requirement for your course(s).

Student's personalised timetable available on Access Adelaide (after publication).

Exam timetables are available:

Semester 1 2008

July Supplementary 2008

Semester 2 2008

December Supplementary 2008

Exam times are not available prior to these times.

The full timetable is published on the Examinations website at least 5 weeks before the primary exam periods for semesters 1 and 2, and at least 4 weeks before the supplementary periods.

Each student must consult the timetable for each examination period. University staff members are not permitted to provide information on examinations times or venues over the telephone (with the exception of alternative examination arrangements). Note that not all examinations appear on the official timetable, as some Schools may hold exams outside of the official period. If you cannot see your exam on the timetable, please consult your School or Faculty.

Clashing Exams

If two or more of your exams are scheduled at the same time, or you have one exam on-campus and one off-campus on the same day, you may be eligible for alternative examination arrangements. You must complete the Alternative Exam Arrangements (Scheduling Conflict) (pdf 275kB) form and return it to the Examinations Office within two weeks of the timetable being published. Usually, students with clashing exams will sit both exams on the same day in a venue on campus.

Any student from Roseworthy or Waite campus with clashing exams should report to their Faculty Office without delay.

Practical Exams

Some practical exams are scheduled on the official timetable. If your practical exam does not appear, contact your School or Faculty for advice.

Exam Sessions

There are two exam sessions daily 9:20am and 1:50pm.

At approximately 9.15am and 1.45pm candidates will be permitted to enter the examination venue.

Reading time officially commences at 9.20am and 1.50pm.

Writing time commences at 9.30am and 2.00pm (however students should observe recommended reading times on the exam paper, as some exams may recommend a longer reading period).

Students may not enter the examination venue more than 40 minutes after the beginning of the examination without the consent of a supervisor. If you are late for your exam, but arrive before 10:00am (for AM sessions) or 2:30pm (for PM sessions) you will be admitted to the venue. If you arrive after these times, you may not be permitted to enter the venue, and should consult your School or Faculty for advice.
