Health Sciences

Increase your sense of well being and have a healthy start to tertiary life with the Synapse Peer Networking Program during Semester 1, Term 1. The 2013 program has been extended to include first year undergraduate students enrolled in the Bachelor of Health Sciences and Bachelor of Psychological Sciences degree programs.

The program will allow you to:

  • Meet experienced students (peer mentors) who will attend your pre-enrolment talks to give you a students perspective on any questions you might have about uni life, culture and study. They will share their time, knowledge and personal experiences of starting out at uni.
  • Sign up for Synapse program activities, to be held during the first term.
  • Have access to ongoing contact with a peer mentor through the group activities and email exchanges. Or you can sign up now by completing and submitting the online registration form on this page.
  • Have you an opportunity to learn all you need to know about the uni but were afraid to ask, learn your way around campus, ensure that you are enrolled in the correct courses and are happy with your choices.

Synapse is a fun way to expand your circle of friends and acquaintances amongst students who are studying the same or similar courses. Expand you connections, have fun and be successful.
