Starting Uni

Uni life is exciting, challenging and everything in between! 

You will be introduced to new ideas, learn new skills, gain knowledge and make new friends. You may find that the transition to uni life can take time but that's okay - we're here to help. 

We have a range of services to make it easier for you to settle in:

O'Week - Take part in the massive program of academic and social activities and information sessions. They will introduce you to campus life; the people, the services, the resources, the environment and new ways of learning.

Peer Networking - A program of social and academic events where you can meet other first year students undertaking similar studies, meet a mentor and help you adapt to uni life with ease!  

UniStep - A semester long program to help you work out what uni is about, help you tailor your study skills to make the most of your education and assist with future career plans. UniStep will give you the information when it really counts, so stay connected.

Advisory Service - Student Advisors support and assist students to address any issues (financial, personal or academic) impacting on their studies. Drop by at level 3 Hughes Building, call us on 8313 0100 or email us.
