Graduations will no longer be held in December from 2009
The graduation process has recently changed. Students no longer need to attend a ceremony in order to graduate from their award. Eligible students will have a statement added to their academic transcripts confirming that they have completed the requirements for their award and that the award has been conferred prior to the ceremony. The presentation of degree parchments will then occur at graduation ceremonies (dates of the graduation ceremonies).
Information for students expecting to complete in Semester 2 2009
If you are planning to complete your program at the end of 2009 make sure that you indicate Semester 2, 2009 as your expected completion term when you fill in your enrolment checklist (via Access Adelaide).
All students' records will be checked once end of year examination results become available and eligible students will have a statement added to their transcripts by mid January 2010 confirming that they have completed their awards and have been admitted as graduates to their degrees.
The Graduations Office will email all students who indicate that they expect to complete their program at the end of 2009 with further information about the graduation process and how to apply.
