Step 2
Apply to Graduate
Access Adelaide is where you apply to graduate: LOGON
Your username and password for Access Adelaide is the same as your username and password for email, MyUni and logging onto on-campus computers.
Have you forgotten your password? You cannot have your password reset over the phone. You must either visit the Student Centre with appropriate photographic ID or have your password posted to you.
Know your password, but can't logon?
If it has been some time since you left the University and you can no longer logon to Access Adelaide, please complete the form here (pdf 80kB) and present it at the Student Centre to re-activate your Access Adelaide privileges. Completing the Application on-line
Personal Details
Ensure your full legal name is recorded correctly. This will appear on all of your graduation documentation, including your graduation parchment, the program and in the ceremony speeches. Changes to your name (additions/deletions) and corrections (spelling changes/capitalisation/special characters) CANNOT be made after you have graduated. You will need to visit the Student Centre with appropriate documentation to change your name.
Award Details
If you are unsure of the award for which you should apply, check with your Faculty/School. Students enrolled in a double degree program should submit an application for each award.
It depends on what your two (or more) degrees are, and if they have been scheduled to take place at the same ceremony. For example, if a Bachelor of Science is scheduled for Tuesday morning, and a Diploma of Languages is scheduled for Wednesday morning, you will attend two separate ceremonies (if you elect to graduate 'In Person'). However, if the schedule includes both of your awards at the one ceremony, you can collect both awards at the same time. If you do not wish to attend two ceremonies, you could choose to graduate 'In Absentia' from one of the awards.
Ceremony and Attendance Details
You must choose when you want to graduate and if you wish to attend your graduation 'In Person' or receive your award 'In Absentia' (not attend the ceremony).
If you choose to graduate 'In Person', you may note any special requirements you may have, as well as the correct pronunciation of your name.
If you choose to graduate 'In Absentia', you need to select an option for collection of your parchment. You can collect your parchment personally from the Student Centre approximately three weeks after the ceremony, or you can authorise someone else to collect it for you. You or your authorised proxy will be required to present photographic ID at the time of collection. Alternatively, you can request that your parchment be posted to you, for a nominal cost.
You can change the details of your application through Access Adelaide at any time up until the Anomalies Deadline. Thereafter you can only change your attendance from 'In Person' to 'In Absentia', or withdraw your application completely. You cannot change to 'In Person' after this deadline as all tickets will have been allocated.
