Tickets

Guest Ticket Allocation

A fixed number of guest tickets for family and friends will be allocated to each student who is eligible to graduate and attending their graduation ceremony in person. A minimum of 2 tickets will be allocated to each graduand. You do not require a ticket for yourself.

You will be advised of the number of guest tickets you have been allocated in your Graduation Status Letter which you can view on Access Adelaide from the Graduation Status Date. You must view your Status Letter first to confirm the status of your application to graduate.

There is NO CHARGE for tickets to the graduation ceremony.

If you are eligible to graduate with two awards in the same ceremony, eg. Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of Languages, you will receive ONLY ONE allocation of tickets for the graduation ceremony, NOT one allocation for each award.

Additional Tickets

If you would like extra tickets in addition to the guest tickets you have been allocated for your ceremony, you may request them only after you have viewed your allocation in your Graduation Status Letter. You cannot request additional tickets before this time. You must apply for additional tickets via Access Adelaide after viewing your Graduation Status Letter and before the Anomalies Deadline (see Important Deadlines).

The Graduations Office will endeavour to meet requests for additional tickets. However, due to seating limitations in Bonython Hall or the offshore graduation venues, and depending on the number of graduands attending each ceremony, this may not always be possible. If there is a particularly large number of students graduating at a ceremony, there may be no additional tickets at all.

You will be able to view the outcome of your request for additional tickets via Access Adelaide and will be advised of the ticket collection dates.

Tickets for Children

Children under the age of 2 years who would sit on your lap for the duration of the ceremony do not require a ticket. If you have older children coming to the ceremony, they will require a ticket.

Return of tickets

If you do not require some or all of your allocated tickets, kindly advise the Graduations Office by email, so that these unused tickets can be re-distributed to other graduands for their families and friends.

Ticket collection dates and times

All guest tickets for the graduation ceremonies held in Adelaide will be available for collection from the Student Centre, Level 4 Wills Building, North Terrace, ONLY on the dates specified in your Graduation Status Letter. Student Centre operating hours will be extended to 8:30am-5:30pm for ticket collection only on the ticket collection dates listed in your Graduation Status Letter. Photographic ID is required at the time of ticket collection. All other Student Centre services will be available during regular operating hours.

Information about where and when to collect guest tickets for the graduation ceremonies held offshore in Singapore will be provided in your Graduation Status Letter.

You may wish to nominate someone to collect your tickets on your behalf. If so, please provide details of your authorised proxy in the Proxy Authorisation Form (doc 23kB) and return it to the Student Centre or give it to your authorised proxy for presentation at the time of ticket collection. Please advise your authorised proxy to provide photo identification at the time of collection.
