Student email: Each student has a university email account and it is essential you check it regularly.

MyUni: MyUni is our online education service for students and staff and is the starting place for access to learning resources. From MyUni you are able to access course materials, discussion groups, announcements, resources and personal tools.

Student Identity Card: Your Student ID Card is an all-in-one card, giving you convenient access to a whole range of essential campus services and functions.

Library online resources: Find e-resources, collections, guides, catalogues and services on the Library website.

Using a computer at university: Each Faculty has computing suites available for your use.  There are also computing suites in the Barr Smith Library, the Student Union and the Huxley Computing Suite after hours for all students.

Wireless hotspots: There are locations on campus where you can wirelessly connect a laptop computer to the university network. This service is offered free of charge. Details of these locations are available from the Student Centre website or on the Wireless Network website.

Student Dialup Service: If you have a computer with a dialup modem you can take advantage of the free dialup service provided by the University.

Internet access: Undergraduate students receive an allocation of 250Mb per semester for university-related use of the Internet. You can purchase additional allocations as required.  (Due to statutory requirements, if you are under the age of 18 years and wish to have access to the wider Internet you must provide written consent from a parent or guardian).

Printing: Undergraduate students receive a limited printing quota for free. You can top up your quota at any time by visiting the Student Centre. Printing systems vary between computing suites and please check print charges and quotas applied for your Faculty.
