This policy specifies how unsatisfactory academic progress will be identified and addressed, and applies to all students enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs.

Assessment and Exams

Assessment for Coursework Programs Policy
This policy sets out the principles that underpin the University of Adelaide's approach to assessment and the mandatory procedures that ensure that these principles are implemented. It applies to all students, staff and title holders involved in the assessment process for any undergraduate, Honours or postgraduate coursework award program.

Cheating and Plagiarism

Plagiarism Policy
This policy defines and outlines the University's prohibition of plagiarism and summarises the ways in which the University prevents, detects and penalises plagiarism. The guidelines within the policy provide advice for staff and students on the procedures followed in dealing with cases of plagiarism.

The Student Grievance Resolution Process enables students to make a formal complaint about academic decisions, administrative decisions, or unfair treatment.

Fair Treatment Policy
The Fair Treatment Policy covers all aspects of discrimination, harassment, bullying and vilification. It provides information to students and staff of their rights and obligations and sets standards of behaviour in accordance with State and Federal equity and diversity legislation.
