English Language Support
The University of Adelaide offers a range of English language support programs to assist students. Each Faculty offers a variety of support programs for students studying within that Faculty, or in some cases in other Faculties. In addition the Centre for Learning and Professional Development offers support programs for all students of the University. Finally Professional and Continuing Education offers a range of fee based courses to assist students, through the English Language Centre.

University English Language Support Programs
- Centre for Learning and Professional Development
The CLPD provides a range of services to students at the University of Adelaide including a conversation development volunteer program and conversation classes, academic writing and study skills development, language development and maths and stats assistance. These services are free to enrolled students.
- International Student Centre
The Language and Cultural Exchange (LCE) program is designed to facilitate interaction and mutual exchange between international students and local students and staff at the University. The program matches current students and staff at the University with native speakers of the requested language.
Faculty English language Support Programs
- Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
Offer Professional English courses as part of a student's course of study. These are available at two levels, offered in each semester, and are open to students from other Faculties.
