Short Study Programs

Thinking of studying abroad, but not able to be away from Adelaide for as long as six months or a year? What about considering a short study program?

Dankook University International Winter School, Korea - Jan 5 - Feb 21, 2012

University of Adelaide students may be eligible to receive partial scholarships to participate in this six-week program, which includes a three-week English teaching internship and a three-week academic program. This program is available only to native English speakers, and applicants can only receive the partial scholarship if they apply via the Adelaide Abroad office.

AIM Overseas Short Programs

Aim Overseas

AIM Overseas offers the opportunity to undertake a 3-4 week academic program overseas during the winter and summer holiday periods. These intensive programs, taught in English, are designed to be counted for credit towards your degree as electives. Funding may be available.

  • International Relations and Politics in the EU - The Netherlands - annually in January/Febraury
  • International Business and Advertising - France - annually in January and in July
  • Health Care in a Developing Country - Mexico - annually in January/February
  • Teacher Education and Practice - USA - annually in January/February
  • Creative Writing, History, Politics, Literature Summer Schools - Oxford, UK - annually in July
  • International Summer School - Cambridge, UK - annually in July
  • Global Leadership - Czech Republic and Panama - annually in July
  • Sustainability of Tropical Heritage - Malaysia - annually in July
  • Indigenous Communities - Malaysia - annually in July
  • Italian Entreprenuership - Milan, Italy - annually in June
  • Intensive French Language - Vichy, France - year round
  • International Trade Finance - Hong Kong - annually in July
  • European Marketing & Management - Tours, France - annually in July

Language programs are also offered for those wishing to learn or improve a second language. They are offered annually, in France, Mexico, Spain, Germany and Morocco. For information on the language programs, click here.
