Uni-Capitol Washington Internship Programme (UCWIP)

2 January 2014 - 28 February 2014

Please click here to complete an Expression of Interest for the 2014 UCWIP program. Expressions of Interest close Monday 29 April 2013.

The UCWIP internship is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to work in the US Congress while living in Washington DC. This fantastic opportunity is available to all second- and third-year undergraduate students (subject to capacity within your degree structure) and of particular interest to students of Politics, International Studies, Economics and Law.

Successful applicants will be awarded a placement at a participating Congressional Office (Placement Provider), based on their preferences submitted as part of a written application. Students will work full-time for their Placement Provider, performing administrative and substantive duties. They will receive unique access and educational perspectives into the US Congress.

Eligible students should receive 6 units of credit towards their University of Adelaide degree upon completion of the program. Accommodation will be arranged for participants, however all costs will be borne by the students.

Successful participants are selected by the Program Director and the Placement Provider in Washington DC - the University of Adelaide does not have a final say in who will receive the placements.
