Advisory Service

This free confidential service provides:

• Grants of up to $2000 for students experiencing financial hardship
• Practical assistance with issues affecting your studies
• Help applying for extensions 
• Assistance transitioning into the University environment

Available to eligible students who are Australian citizens or have permanent residency. International students can contact the International Student Centre for similar services.

Our goal is to improve retention and success rates and to enhance the individual student's experience of university by providing advice and directing them to appropriate services.

Adelaide Higher Education Participation (AHEP) Grants

Student Advisors can assist students to access the Adelaide Higher Education Participation (AHEP) Grants which are available to assist full-time students who are in financial need, or are facing significant disadvantage, with small to medium grants to address pressing financial hardship.

Students must complete an application form and must be able to establish financial need and provide relevant supporting documentation.
