Bachelor of Criminology

Intrigued by what motivates people to commit crime and how society and the justice system responds to it?

As a criminology student you will examine the causes and impacts of crime, understand the criminal justice system and how crime science can influence decisions in government and beyond. Key elements of Criminology draw from law, politics, sociology and cultural studies, with the option to study Psychology. You will understand methods for reducing and preventing crime and be able to gather and interpret statistics to help influence change.

As criminology graduate you are prepared for a career in social justice, intelligence, social policy development, crime prevention, and the criminal justice system.
