- Step 3: Check the degree application closing dates
Some degrees have early closing dates. Applications received after the closing date will be considered for the subsequent year or intake.
- Step 4: Apply
The University of Adelaide is continually seeking ways to improve service to applicants. As a result of recent changes to our admissions system, we now offer the convenience of a fully online application for coursework applications.
You can now:
- Complete your entire application online and upload your documents
- Pay the $100 application fee via the secure payment gateway
- Save your application at any point and retrieve it later

Find a representative in your area: Agents and representatives of the University of Adelaide can assist with the preparation and submission of your application to study as well as your student visa application.
- Step 5: Additional requirementsSome programs have additional requirements, such as registering for admissions tests, providing performance auditions or portfolios of work. Click here for details.
- Step 6: Provide certified documentsIf you are not applying through an agent, you will have to mail certified copies of your documents to the University. Click here for more information.
- Step 7: Then what?
- Once you submit your application, you will receive a reference number. If you make an enquiry, you must quote this reference number.
- If we require any additional information or documents, we will contact you.
- If you apply through an agent, they will liaise with the university on your behalf.
If your application is successful- You (or your agent) will be sent a Letter of Offer via email.
- If your offer is conditional, you must provide evidence of meeting all conditions when you accept your offer.
- Refer to the instructions for accepting your offer.
