Once you have gained entry into a degree you can apply to gain credit for your previous studies. Follow the steps below to apply for credit:
Students who are completing or expect to complete the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE)
Prerequisites (if applicable):
Students who are completing or expect to complete the International Baccalaureate.

Students who complete their secondary schooling in another Australian State (not South Australia) or country.

Students who have completed a minimum of a Certificate IV (or equivalent) from TAFE or a VET provider.

Students who have not attended university previously, have been out of study for some time and/or require further preparation before commencing further study. Visit the Undergraduate Preparatory Program page for more information.
Program offers a suite of preparation courses for students based on an initial needs assessment.

Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students aged 17 years and older.

Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students wishing to study music.

If you have lived for 5 years of more in a rural or remote location, since starting primary school, you can apply to study medicine at the University of Adelaide under the Rural Background Entry (RBE) pathway.
Up to 25 places are available.
