University Contact Centre
The University Contact Centre is your first stop for all administrative matters and general enquiries.
Accommodation Service
Adelaide is a wonderful place to live but what's the best option for you? The Accommodation Service can provide information about the different options available including University-managed accommodation, residential colleges, student hostels, private rental and share housing.
Learning Support
We have many learning support services to help students who want to improve their academic performance. The Maths Learning Centre and the Writing Centre offer free sessions on improving writing and seminar presentation abilities.
Childcare
Our government-accredited, community-operated childcare centres are located at the North Terrace, Waite and Roseworthy campuses. Full-time, part-time, and occasional care is provided, with centres open Monday to Friday (fees apply).
Counselling Service
Our Counselling Service provides free and confidential personal counselling for students in relation to issues that are affecting their study.
Disability Service
We provide a range of services to students with temporary or ongoing disabilities or medical conditions.
Disability Liaison Officers are available to advise on how to access assistance with examination arrangements, alternative course material formats, and making decisions about study.
Health Service
University Health (North Terrace campus) offers services including health checks, immunisations and vaccinations, drug and alcohol counselling, women's health, sports medicine, skin care, travel medicine and psychotherapy. Both female and male doctors are available.
International Student Centre
Our International Student Centre provides non-academic support services for international students. These services include workshops, front counter service and social programs to help students from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds.
Library
Our libraries (including the renowned Barr Smith Library) feature over two million print and electronic resources, including more than 10,000 journal titles.
Student services include:
- wireless internet access for laptops
- study areas for individual or group study
- computers and photocopiers
- an inter-library loan and document delivery service
- specialist librarians to provide training and assistance in searching for information and using the library.
