Both domestic and international prospective higher degree by research students apply for admission and scholarships online. In addition to satisfying the academic requirements for admission, all applicants are required to satisfy the English proficiency requirements.

It is important to note that the University conducts Domestic and International Application Rounds where prospective students can apply to for both admission and scholarship.

Domestic Applicants
Each year the University of Adelaide conducts two rounds of applications for admission and/or scholarships for domestic postgraduate research, the Domestic Major and Mid Year Rounds. |
International Applicants
Each year the University of Adelaide conducts two rounds of applications for admission and scholarships for international postgraduate research, the International Major and Mid Year Rounds. |
Note that admission only applications are accepted year round, and there is the posibility of applying for a postgraduate research scholarship once enrolled in your research program.
