How Do I Apply?

Both domestic and international prospective higher degree by research students apply for admission and scholarships online. In addition to satisfying the academic requirements for admission, all applicants are required to satisfy the English proficiency requirements.

The Adelaide Graduate Centre (AGC) administer all postgraduate research admission and/or scholarships applications, enrolment, and publish The Research Student Handbook - an information rich resource which acquits you with important information about undertaking your postgraduate research degree program with the University of Adelaide

It is advisable that applicants follow the steps outlined in the application process as doing so will walk you through important questions, considerations and actions you must take in applying for a higher degree by research program with the University of Adelaide.

Admission and/or Scholarship Application Rounds

It is important to note that the University conducts Domestic and International Application Rounds where prospective students can apply to for both admission and scholarship.

Domestic Applicants Each year the University of Adelaide conducts two rounds of applications for admission and/or scholarships for domestic postgraduate research, the Domestic Major and Mid Year Rounds.

International Applicants Each year the University of Adelaide conducts two rounds of applications for admission and scholarships for international postgraduate research, the International Major and Mid Year Rounds.

Note that admission only applications are accepted year round, and there is the posibility of applying for a postgraduate research scholarship once enrolled in your research program.
