Good news! It’s pretty straightforward to apply to the Uni of Adelaide.
If you’re planning to finish Year 12 with an ATAR, you simply apply online through the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC) and select the top six degrees that you’d like to study.
The closing date for undergraduate degrees (except Veterinary Bioscience, Medicine, Dentistry and Oral Health) is in early December (late September if you want to avoid the late fee). If you have missed the closing date for the beginning of year entry, mid-year entry is also available for some degrees.
Selection is made in December/January and offers of admission are mailed out to successful applicants in January/February.
If you don’t get the offer you want, there are always the second and third round offers.
You should find all the info you need right here. If you have any further questions or want to check anything, just give us a call or enquire online. We’re here to help!
Can I Still Apply after the SATAC Deadline?
Yes, if you apply after the December closing date your application will still be considered (except Veterinary Bioscience, Medicine, Dentistry and Oral Health) but you may not be given equal consideration in the selection process (i.e. you may not receive an offer in February even if your selection rank is equal to or higher than that of an applicant who received an offer in January).
Please note: SATAC charges a late fee for applications lodged after the deadline. Offers are made to late applicants in the February round. Please visit the SATAC website for further information and closing dates.
