Cross-Institutional & Non-Award StudentsCross-Institutional StudentsSummer & Winter School provides Cross-Institutional students with the opportunity to undertake intensive courses at the University of Adelaide during their univeristy holidays. Cross-Institutional study is when a student who is enrolled in a program of study at one Australian University, enrols in courses or topics offered at another institutions to count towards their degree at their home university. The 'home institution' is the university from which the student will eventually take out their degree. Non-Award StudentsThe University of Adelaide offers a range of courses that are available for study on a Non-Award basis. It is possible to study individual courses at the University of Adelaide for personal interest or professional development, outside of the requirements of a university award. Most undergraduate courses offered by the university are available to be undertaken as non-award study. Non-award students undertake the same studies and assessment as award students, i.e. students who are undertaking the course through a university award, such as a bachelor degree. Non-Award study is a great way to 'test the water' regarding university study. As a Non-Award student you attend lectures and tutorials, and are assessed and examined with students who are completing undergraduate degrees. You may or may not be presently enrolled in a University degree course, and may wish to undertake assessment for interest, or to obtain credit points toward a current or future qualification. How to Enrol & Amend your EnrolmentCross Institutional students It is the student’s own responsibility to liaise with their home institution to ensure that they will be awarded credit for the chosen course. Non-Award students International Non-Award students are required to meet the same standards of English proficiency as any student seeking admission to academic programs at the University of Adelaide. Students are expected to be proficient in speaking, reading, listening to and writing English. Further details are available here. Fees & PaymentCross Institutional students
