Cross-Institutional StudentsWhat is Cross-Institutional Study?Summer & Winter School provides Cross-Institutional students with the opportunity to undertake intensive courses at the University of Adelaide during their univeristy holidays. Cross-Institutional study is when a student who is enrolled in a program of study at one Australian University, enrols in courses or topics offered at another institutions to count towards their degree at their home university. The 'home institution' is the university from which the student will eventually take out their degree. How to Enrol & Amend your EnrolmentStudents from other institutions who want to undertake summer and winter semester study at the University of Adelaide should complete a Cross-Institutional Enrolment Form and submit it to the Summer & Winter School (see form for details). Students can drop their courses by submitting a Course Drop Form with the relevant Faculty or School. If students are wanting to request Commonwealth support and HECS-HELP they must also complete a 'Request for Commonwealth support and HECS-HELP' form. They can collect one of these from their home institutions Student Centre (or various equivalents) or can email the Summer & Winter School Office with their name and address to request a copy be posted to them. It is the student’s own responsibility to liaise with their home institution to ensure that they will be awarded credit for the chosen course.
